Anticipation....is keeping me way-ay-ay-ay-ay-aiting.

Bless me, Bloggers, for I have sinned. It's been 10 weeks and 6 days since my last entry.

Trust me. You can leave the Church, but the Church doesn't necessarily leave you.

And in the words of my good friend Forrest, that's all I have to say about that.

So...yeah. Captain Picklepants just left with John for his First Ever Big Kid Tee Ball practice. Last year, John coached his Little Kids Tee Ball (YMCA league) but this is the big-time, baby. The Big Leagues: aka, Little League. (All bow and give serious reverance to the all hallowed Little League.) I won't see him in his uniform until next week, but I'm all choked up, just thinking about it. (No! Surely not!)

Hey, here's a quiz for you. Which gets me more choked up? Is it:

a) The thought of my adorable, blue-eyed five-year-old in his first official Little League baseball uniform?

b) The thought of the moment in 2004 when I witnessed the Red Sox winning the World Series? or,

c) The thought of my adorable, blue-eyed five-year-old, as a twenty-five year old, in a Red Sox uniform, winning the World Series?

The answer? Please. All of the above get me equally choked up.

Yes, Spring has Sprung. Love is in the air, the birds are singing, allergies have begun. The good news is, my children are napping like crazy in the afternoons, what with all the fresh air. The bad news is, I keep falling asleep when they're asleep, I wake up completely disoriented, having done absolutely nothing around the house, and am scrambling to pull things together before my beloved comes home. Archaic, I know, but I feel better, he feels better, we all get along better when the house is clean at the end of the day. Or, as close to clean as I can manage in my sleep-induced stupor.

Speaking of which, I had a dream I was violently shoving chunky peanut butter down my own throat, causing myself to sputter and choke. Guess what my husband interpreted that as? I'll leave it to your imagination. Suffice to say, it didn't involve peanut butter.

I need another nap.

Aren't you glad you tuned back in? Wasn't it worth the wait?

Yeah, I thought so.

Check back in another 2 1/2 months, when I write again.

Here's what I'm anticipating. The day I won't have to page down for 3 hours to get to your latest entry. Not that your polka-dot background isn't wickedly gay-o or anything...

DELETE THE 7 FEET OF BLANK SPACE FOR THE LOVE OF CRIKEY, WILL YA???
